Bringing Teeth Back To Life

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain dental veneers are used in cosmetic dentistry to transform the appearance of a damaged or discoloured tooth. In many situations they can be ultra thin so that only minimal tooth preparation is required and in some cases, no preparation of your teeth is required making the treatment entirely reversible.

The porcelain veneers that our dentists use are similar in strength and appearance to natural teeth. In fact, some of our technicians are so highly skilled in bespoke customisation of veneers that they are unrecognisable from natural teeth to the naked eye. Veneers can be placed on a single tooth but are more often placed in combination to transform a smile. Veneers can be made to any colour, shape, contour and surface character as required.

Our porcelain veneer of choice is the highly aesthetic E-Max ceramic by Ivoclar.

The Procedure

  • Discoloured, chipped or cracked teeth can benefit from a veneer.
  • A thin layer of the tooth surface is shaved off and impressions are taken.
  • A veneer is custom made to fit perfectly, protecting the tooth underneath and bringing it back to life.
